For our client in Leeuwarden we are looking for a front-end developer.

As a Front-end Developer you will be part of a team that works according to the Scrum and DevOps methodologies. The team is responsible for creating and implementing innovative and creative solutions in the customer data domain with a focus on roles and mandates. Within the team you will be working on full stack solutions, front-end and back-end, with state of the art technologies. Your main focus within the team will be on Front End development.

Your work environment
The department manages the customer data and enables both the customer and our employees to work with this data in an accessible and easy manor.
We use Scrum Agile for our development process and are advocates of the DevOps way of developing IT solutions. The focus is on high quality, business critical software that is delivered in a timely fashion using an iterative process with regular demos to our stakeholders to ensure that expectations are met.

Your profile
You are passionate about IT and constantly working on keeping up to date with the latest developments. In addition to that you are a team player that, together with your team members, wants to accomplish what you committed to at the start of the sprint. You are able to coach your team members on Front-End development.

Skills required
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or comparable education
3+ years of experience as a software engineering
Excellent knowledge of and experience with Front-End development showing in your knowledge of: JavaScript, AngularJS, Web Components development, HTML, CSS, Accessibility and Performance
Extensive experience with the Agile way of working
Experience with Continuous Delivery
Knowledge of and experience with Java API development, Spring and Maven is preferred
Knowledge of TDD (Test Driven Development)
Excellent English communication skills
