For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Business Intelligence Architect (DetaVast)

Concerns ‘deta-vast’. The candidate should be able to become internal after 12 months without additional fees and restrictions.

As a Business Intelligence Architect your responsibility is to design and automate the implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions like SAS and SAP BusinessObjects. You are also responsible for performing lifecycle management, hardening security and complying with the international banking risk standards.

Job qualifications:
– Profound knowledge of Business Intelligence/Analytics/Data Warehousing
– Profound knowledge of SAS or SAP BusinessObjects
– Hands-on installation-, upgrade- and support experience of SAS or SAP BusinessObjects.
– Administrating Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating System and/or Windows Server
– Automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, TFS)
– Knowledge on Continuous Delivery, Pipelines
– PowerShell, Python and/or Shell programming skills
– GIT, TFS or any other distributed version-control system
– Lifecycle Management and release management
– Backup/restore and Disaster Recovery principles
– Enterprise level Monitoring/Automation/scheduling/Administration (CMDB)
– Experience with Agile, Scrum and DevOps
– Ability to work well with others and understand business processes
– Creates and maintains technical documentation

Nice to have:
– International working experience
– Knowledge on:
– MS SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, Hortonworks Data Platform
– MIT Kerberos, AD integration, LDAP
– Automated testing
– VMware Cloud tooling (Vro/Vra/Vrbe)
– Experience with cloud architecture

Education and background:
– at least Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology
– Experience from working in high performing Agile IT teams Track record of successfully automating operations of software products
– Certifications and/or proven proficiency in one or more technologies requested
– Good understanding of Dutch and English
